Mighty Mighty formed in Birmingham in 1983. By '85 they settled on the lineup that remains the same to this day. That year they recorded their debut, Everybody Knows The Monkey and released it the following year on their own Girlie Records. After a string of indie charting singles and one album the band broke up in 1988. Now they are back writing and recording again. Look out for a new LP in 2017.
